So I’ve decided that I’m just going to drive up the 1 and ride along the coast until I hit Santa Barbara. I figure this will take me like 3 hours with stops and shit like that so I’ll make it to SB at like 4…could be later. Meeko’s letting me stay at her place for the night so I appreciate that haha. After that I might go up north some more and head to SLO. Then go back home. I need to prep everything for then…including getting my oil changed.

If my schedule for work lets me, I want to just pack up a bag and head out of town for a while. Just by myself travel. Take a train somewhere, anywhere. The furthest away I can get and back within the time I have off. I don’t know where I’ll go or how far, but just somewhere away for a while. Just a pocket full of change and a train ticket to no where in particular. I could also get a plane ticket, get much further and then back. I just need a different change of pace and some time off to reset things.

From time to time, customers yell inside to say how much they enjoyed their drink because its the best they’ve had. When I’m on bar that makes me feel good. It’s nice to hear you’re doing a job well done.

Same thing for the kids at work. They get on my good side when they say I’m the smartest person they know. I know it’s all a farce, but it feels nice.
